I wouldn't say that,cb is still very busy around the bigger towns and cities.
I go to the hills and hear it all though don't really talk on fm.Prefer ssb to be honest  Smile

I shutdown my homebased station back in 2002, after the ever-growing loss in skip. And soon after gave up going mobile, I prefer the SSB 27Mhz band also. There was a healthy number of people on around Sussex but after the availability of cheap internet access at home they soon left CB'ing. Might setup my Lincoln later on in the year once I sort a couple of things out on the Vit.
