I actually make a 2" suspension lift(coil spacers) for the 89-98 vitaras of as we call them sidekicks and trackers over here in Canada. The kit I make comes with 4 cnc machined billet aluminium coil spacers 2 strut spacers and a rear diff third link spacer. I have sold over 100 of these lifts and had no problems with them. So to answer your question SOME of the coil spacer kits out there are good, stay away from the plastic ones. |

Hi there, see my post(s) here, it explains my situation and justifys me saying that.. I have used polyeurethane srping spacers for two years and they are absolutely fine! I bought mine from Bits4Vits, the owner, Dave, is 100% and his products are of VERY high quality.
So, YES, Bits4Vits poly shock spacers are very good!

spring spacers are the easiest things to fit in the world you only need a basic tool kit.
top tip undue your rear shox from the bottom not the top. |

spring spacers can actually be a risky point on an mot...
if the tester doesnt think it looks safe or could potentially move, its a fail.
and the whole mot is down to the testers opinion _________________ the car in front is a toyota...

That is very true... this is why i reacon,on reflection, the easiest way to get a budget mild lift is fit Grand Vitara springs... then if that not enough get 3" lift springs and then if thats not enough the vitara isnt rele a good base! haha _________________ Vitara JLX 1.6
