hey folks i,m a newbie to this site and to owning a vitara my problem is the steering on my car is very heavy at slow speeds ok when above 20 mph, doesn,t bother me but the ball and chain is giving me earache about it as she wants to use it for going to work,it,s a 1992 model and has a steering box ,no power steering,is there a quick fix i can try?or would i have to take the long road and do a conversion i was thinking about electric power steering if this is possable??i have a good mechanic who can do the work but i,m worried about the cost for parts, any feedback on this would be much appreciated, thanks Davie C |
