Can anyone point me to the VIN plate on a Sammy. I have searched the engine bay and no luck.
I have found what looks like a VIN plate in the drivers footwell, but doesn't look like one I'm used to seeing on other cars, is this the correct plate. I am getting worried I might not get an MOT without it !!!!!! Plus I have just applied for a V5 (which was missing) and just took what I guessed to be the chassis number of this metal plate. 
On the plus side, I have now nearly got my 10 posts, to show you some pics !!!!  |

and yes the VIN plate is in the drivers footwell, on the outside edge near the floor
