hi all im contemplating in custome making my back seat with a pink and black leather but was wondering how it would be if i was to re shape the inner wheel arch thus making the rear 12'' wider and making the 2 back seats 1 bench seat and adding a lap belt would i be able t MOT as a 5 seater leagally.,.,.,.,. or am i imaging to far out of the box???????????? Very Happy

as long as the mounts are up to it and youre not listed as a 4 seater on the v5, you might be able to get away with it?

hey its currently regd as a 4 seat but my idea was to re shape (cut and weld) the arches down as i only have 15'' road tyresusing the two seat seat frames adding some more ally width and them 18mm ply and foam with the leather............

youll need to sva it as a five seater to get it changed with the dvla, so ity prob isnt worth the hassle.

lso, the wheel will rub under compression if you make the arches any smaller
