http://www.abingdon4x4festival.com/

its a controlled course and a weekends camping. its the weekend after my birthday so we go most years Very Happy
we camp friday and saturday nights and the offroading is quite fun especially the mud run where you will see quite a few having to be pulled out. MY BIRTHDAY IS 22 OF SEPTEMBER Very Happy  and its the 25-26
you can take brand new 4x4s on the course as there are easy and not so easy sections Twisted Evil.
my father in law took his lwb pajero and didnt do any damage (not even a scratch) (would be a great place for a cruiser) Very Happy

it is pretty tame BUT last year 4 disco engines blew in the water run, a rangie ripped a wishbone off and a brand new amazon tried the last incline on the hard section and destroyed his tow bar exhaust and rear bumper Very Happy on the way round there are a few serious climbs which most other make 4x4s couldnt climb Very Happy

i use it as excuse to drive there camp and drive home (last year i ripped off my front shocks)
