I did a two inch suspension lift on mine, just using spacers. I've needed to buy the diff lowering bracket, CV joints (because I didn't know to buy the bracket until I'd killed the CV joints!), spacers to make the car a bit more stable after (not essential, but a good idea) and the camber adjustment bolts to straighten the wheels again (she handled like a dog without them).

So, a £100 lift kit then turned to £200 with the diff bracket, then £225 with the camber bolts, then £340 with the wheel spacers, and the CV joints will costs another £100/£150
so you're looking at nearly £500 to get the car lifted 2" after I had fixed what lifting it had broken! worth it? maybe not... but I love mucking about with cars either way.

I saw this, which could be good for you too (tempted myself!)

from experiance 2" spring lift is the most i would do as any more would put excessive strain on the cv joints. if you want BIG lift then calmini http://www.puresuzuki.com/3_lift_kit.htm

then do a 3" body lift and you could run 33s Twisted Evil

i personally recommend procomp spring lift +1.5" and a 3" body lift and a diff drop bracket then 2"offset rims and 31" rubber Very Happy
