I have an L reg Vitara, auto. Driving home yesterday, it kept juddering and the 'check engine' light was on. Getting hubby to check it over, he changed the spark plugs. This stopped the juddering and the car drove fine but the 'check engine' light would go on and off in no particular pattern. Then today, same thing with the light, but the car stalled and the oil light came on but the oil was tpped up yesterday. Until that happened, we thought it was maybe a faulty lightbulb. Can anyone advise what might be going on?
Thanks. |

sounds like you might need to et it checked.
the oil light will come on anyway if it stalls, but do you mean it stayed on after you restarted the engine? _________________ the car in front is a toyota...

Didn't know the oil light came on if the car stalled but, yes, the oil light went off when the car restarted. |
