If anyone fancies it, I'm going to the Daventry 4x4 clubs meeting this Sunday.
It starts at 10am and is £15 per vehicle (if I remember rightly).

As far as I know there may even be a chance to get your picture in the local paper  Shocked . The club is being threatened with having the land taken from them so it can be developed into more industrial units. The club is putting out an appeal to be re-homed and I think the local news paper are coming to take pictures of them using the site in aid of their appeal.
So any criminal types that are on a wanted list better avoid the area (little sammy)  Laughing

The site is behind the Fords Sports & Social Club in Royal Oak Way North, Daventry.

It was a really nice day Sunday. Great to see boom and RickyD again, even though poor old boom's car wasn't able to attend due to him breaking it  Rolling Eyes , we all still had a laugh and a good play.
We even discovered that Ricky's virtually unmodified SJ would go anywhere that the more modified cars managed to get.

Looking forward to the next meet up now  Very Happy

That'd be cool Paul.
It's only a small site but there's plenty to do. It's open on the 2nd Sunday of every month from about 10am until 4 or 5pm. However, it's not always open as a pay & play day, they have a lot club members competitions, so if you were planning to come up ever, let me know first and I'll check what's occurring.

Here's a selection of small video's from playing on Sunday. Can't post most of them because it seems I swear a lot when driving  Shocked

There'll always be stuff going on mate.
How far off completion is your LJ now? I've seen you are deep into it, but do you have any idea how much longer you can expect to be working on it?

Never easy trying to maintain a healthy balance between New baby and work Confused well almost ready to start my little LJ up, if fingers crossed all goes well and the bottom end is not F%@KED then on to the brakes, electrics should be easy just a bunch of lights, body work worry about the cosmetics after it passes MOT, just not sure wether or not to keep the window screen Question

Another small concern is the tyres they are 31x10.5xR15 i'm thinking of going smaller as the front rub on full lock, and i'm not sure if they will knock the gearing and speedo out, but it does look really cool so i might wait until it's running and see.
