i have a samuria 1.3 and it has twin carbs on it but i want to convert it to a su carb.what will i need to do this and where can obtain such parts?thanx

Hi cwc, welcome to the club.

I have never heard of or seen a twin carb Suzuki SJ, but you can buy SU carbs and the adapter plate etc on eBay.

If you search around the forum looking for anything to do with carbs, you'll be able to find a fair amount of information as it's a topic that has popped quite a few times.

the weber will give you more power but will be inclined to icing on long hard runs and they struggle on steep inclines.

are you running it on or off road?

off road only,when i get a roll cage on it.its a bobtail samuria.i was told that the webber was prone to getting stuff in it and that an su carb would reduce this problem .its my first offroad vehicle .new starter ha.
