Bricky.. Remove the front anti roll bar as all it does is restrict your articulation...
BUT KEEP IT AND PUT IT BACK ON FOR THE MOT!!!!!

an anti roll bar is only part of the mot if its fitted.
its not a safety device therefore not required.
if you know someone thats had an mot failed for not having it, then they need to contact the ministry of transport and appeal.
nothing in mot guidelines about being required for road use, its only there to enable a car to turn quicker round a corner without the body roll.
they dont have them on hgv at all _________________ the car in front is a toyota...

bear... get stuffed.
you criticise my advice, you offer dangerous advice then you hassle me when i dont reply to you instantly.
to be honest, you can offer me £500 for the damper and i still wouldnt sell it to you.
now grow up and stop throwing a tantrum when you get ignored for whatever reason. _________________ the car in front is a toyota...

If you are talking about the anti-roll bar thing when you say 'i criticise your advice', i am just going on my experience, yours may be differnet but its just as valid.
what dangerous advice have i offered?
and surely you need to grow up if you wont take money for something you dont want?
and i havent asked for an instant reply... its been 4 days since i made you an offer...
thought u seemed like a decent bloke but i suppose forum postings can be deceptive? _________________ Vitara JLX 1.6

its called principals bear. not everything is about material wealth,
and 4 pms as well as several public postings demanding i reply to your posts is hassling someone.
people that know me know that im pretty easy going and ill help anyone that needs it, but you dont seem to grasp the concept that this is a place where people are friendly and come to chat, share knowledge etc.
and as for your experience, i thought it was what you had heard from friends of friends etc rather than "experienced" yourself.
ill give you a little background on me now...
im a qualified and time-served mechanic (not fitter) and i now sell parts for a living wich i enjoy.
i dont normally work on other peoples cars now as i lost the enthusiasm i once had for it. thats why i gave up mechanics for a profession.
and as for people wanting to buy things from me, thats up to them. i have provided a lot of useful advice on here from my own experience rather than hearsay as well as a lot of well priced parts for people (you all know who you are) and if people think im being an ass about this then im sure theyll feel free to tell me but i dont appreciate a noob coming and insulting me without even the courtesy of posting in the new member section and introducing yourself to everyone.
this community is based on people getting on and a little common courtesy goes a long way towards that.
i apologise to everyone else if this seems a little blunt but i wanted to point this out to you before you upset anyone else.
