Well, half a litre of petrol straight down the carb, two batteries hooked up and me twisting the dizzy with it turning over for an eternity saw it limp into life on what sounded like 2 pistons!!!!
I just kept the throttle wide open and eventually it picked up and is now running sweet as a nut Very Happy  Very Happy

A whaddon we shall go,and leave the su affair for another day Laughing  Laughing

standard at the moment.

Its hif44.

it ran with the su very nicely until i plumbed in the return fuel pipe  and the non return valve jammed up ,both of them did and i think it force fed the engine petrol till it could take no more and forced its way out of the su manifold adapter bracket gaskets.

Ill sort the su after ive been for a play at whaddon march 7th Twisted Evil

I was wondering if i could get a thicker plate welded to the bottom of the bracket as it has bent under the strain, not much but enough to let fuel seep out Confused

Ive just had the adapter plate for the su carb beefed up with a 10mm bottom plate so its extra strong and wont bend again!!

I reckon the su will go back on next week Twisted Evil  Twisted Evil
