Hi all,
I realise this is probably a very silly question to most of you, but I have recently bought a W reg (2000) jimny which has been serviced and a few minor repairs carried out.
I am keen to take it up to Scotland over the Easter weekend and test it out on a few dirt tracks, but I cannot seem to place the car into 4x4.
The model I have has the extra 4x4 shift stick. Mentioned to the mechanic and he said there were no problems with it and he could get it into and drove it into 4x4, but I never had time for him to show me. Have read the book, but I cant seem to get it to work!!!
Apologies for the silly question, but any advice you could give would be great!
Thanks,
WJ |

put it into neutral on the main gearbox then select 4wd with the t/fer box.
if it wont go in, move the car backwards about 10 feet then try again _________________ the car in front is a toyota...
the car pulling it out of the mud is a suzuki |
