can anyone help with a problem i have with retaining pins?
My vitara failed mot yeasterday beacause there were no retaining pins in the nuts on both lower ball joints and the track rod ends, i bought the car as a project from a mate who tried to repair it himself but gave up, i think he had undone the nuts without removing the pins which has made them snap inside the bolt,
does anyone have any suggestions on how to insert new pins with the holes blocked, obviously i need to unblock them but was wondering if anyone has any methods on how to do this? |

you should be able to see the old pins, if you can you might be able to drill them out carefully as theyre fairly soft, then just replace them with new split pins _________________ the car in front is a toyota...
the car pulling it out of the mud is a suzuki |
