So here we go, i bought this as she wanted a new car and something different and because she felt left out at my jap car club, with her owning a renault.
Picked it up cheap enough and i started the project. It isnt the worst car, but it sure needed some TLC.

So then i get cracking, and the first thing was a full service, plugs, filters, rocker gasket, thermostat, dizzy cap, totar arm, HT leads and ALL the oils and lubes were changed. At this point is running sweet as a nut. So we start the fun stuff.... First off that "fido dido " sticker is off, and good riddens.. it is now replaced with some other sticker the wife created at a graphics shop, next a new lock for the spare wheel carrier as the previous owner lost the keys and then the new soft top roof was fitted....before

after the new sticker

LOL, good luck finding the pink ones, iv'e been modding cars for shows for years and i have never ever come across pink ones, the closest you'll get is light purple, unless you have them custom made which is simple enough if you can spare you're own hoses for them to make an exact copy of. Check the web for custom hoses as there is a few places around that will make them, but there not that cheap, but well worth the price if they are a 1 off set, that no one else has Smile
