Here I am, again
My engine is not like I think it should be. It is running more like a Diesel, than a regular engine. Not very smooth.
I measured the compression, and I might have found my problem. No 2 cilinder is at 9,5, the others are at 11 bar. That is too much a difference, alas...
I set the valve clearance just as it should be (no major differences).
I also fiddled around with the timing. In my shop manual is a short note on how that works, but there is no value for where my timing should be at.
Does anyone have a clue? The measurement I took is about 8 (or 9) on cilinder 1.
ps the pickup coil thing neede some cleaning, boy, that son of a preacherman was filthy
At least I have had some improvement after 3 hours of work |
