try a cataclean, it might be your cat blocking up
or fuel filter
or air filter
or oil filter
have you serviced it lately? _________________ the car in front is a toyota...

give us an idea when it's loosing power etc, all the time? only when cold? etc etc
assuming no nasty noises, or excess boost sounds (ie leaking turbo hosing) it's hard to say without more info |

Thank you to Zocko and Golgarth for your information. It's losing power from cold and build up. From standstill I have no power at all, sometimes even when it's warm, particularly on a build-up of acceleration. |

is the clutch slipping or is it something else?
it might be worth fluid changes in the boxes and diffs? _________________ the car in front is a toyota...

Ok, have you checked the fuel and air filters? (When i say check, i mean clean or replace), does it start ok? Is the parking brake sticking on? is it ok when it warms up? is there any black or grey smoke from the exhaust under load? any whistling or whooshing noises? does it run smooth or lumpy when idling? does it reach max RPM? Is it in-direct injection? does it have glow plugs? are they coming on? they might not be staying on long enough? cheers |
