|
|
hi, i have a home made mini 1000 carb coversion that came with the samuria, ive only just got the sj on the road and have noticed its drinkin a hell of alot of fuel. ive put a smaller air filter on there as before it had a large KnN and this seems to have helped it abit.. does anyone have one of ther conversions and knows what the best air filter would be for fuel economy??
cheers nath |

aisin carb, is that the original carb? cuz then no.. but i fink i have 1 that came with the sj, but i take it its broke as it wasnt on the engine in the first place..
i dono what im gettin to the gallon at the moment cuz soon after i posted me question my speedo cable broke . so im just tweakin tha air filter ( putting a sock n things over it ) and started to adjust a nut under the carb that alters the choke, but with out a speedo this is very time consuming ...
soo could any1 piont me in the direction of a website or some1 i could get a speedo from, as theyr a be'ach to get hold of in any part store.
much thanks nath |
