My little sammy is not running 
Changed the carb for an SU,it ran until last night when i plumbed all the return fuel pipes in ,it sounded like it was running on 3 pots then it died,today it will not start,i took the carb and spacers off as fuel was being forced out of the gasket,cleaned the whole lot and sanded it down,put new gaskets on,put it all together bar the returns which i ran into a fuel can and guess what?
It still dont start 
Im gonna take the plugs out tomorrow and leave over night as it may well be flooded as the non return valve in the fuel pipe jammed(again,this is the second )and the return fuel took the weakest way out once it had filled the engine up and forced its way out of the gaskets
Ho effing hum,i should have left the original carb on it 
I am on a mission to get it sorted as someones got to show you around whaddon aint they

any ideas as to wtf has happened??
Im just gonna drain all fuel from carb,take plugs out,disconnect incoming fuel pipe crank it a few times and leave it to evapourate!!!
It was running spot on until i plumbed in the fuel return ,so i see no reason why with the aid of a big hammer and a few swear words it wont run just as well!!
