su hif44 onto my sammy,need a little help here!!

Hi,ive just got me an su hif44 carb and all the bits to go on my sammy,it was off of a 1600 meastro so i was wondering how much hassle it would cause being as my little sammy is a 1300.

also its got an electric choke,can these be converted or at least removed???

you can get a new 1.3 jet from berlen for about £12ish  Very Happy dunno about the choke Confused

very easy to fit, tbh there is only a few screws holding everything together Very Happy

Right ive got the carb and various other bits and bobs,can anyone talk me through fitting it????


I will try and do a step by step write up with pics and if it works ill post   it all up!!!!

Seems as though ive messed up again,been mooching around on maestro websites and these carbs are electronically controlled so i can get away with getting rid of the choke uinless i was an electronic genius which im not so i think ill try and get a plain od hif44 Rolling Eyes

i do like to do things the hard way Laughing

Well so far ive flogged two of the 4 su carbs ive got on ebay coining in £116.

So whatever happens with the last one im already £60 quid in profit and ive managed to canibalise a few accessories from the HIF44e that will fit onto the Hif44 when i get one.

Im learning fast Very Happy  Very Happy

Oooops,well thanks anyway freddie but i got one for a tad less than you wanted and its been refurbed soits nice and shiny like new,not for long though once i get it on and back into the mud Twisted Evil  Twisted Evil
