Nope, samurais dont have freewheeling hubs, you dont need them as you can select 2wd/4wd in the cab. _________________ 69 MG Midget | 89 MG Metro

Freewheeling hubs might be fitted to the old 410's as im pretty sure they dont have a 2wd/4wd selector, so if you want 4wd you got to get out and wrench the freewheelers.
Theyre fitted to landies for hte same reason, early landies dont have the centre diff so without freewheelers tehy eat up the transfer box on the road. _________________ 69 MG Midget | 89 MG Metro

You'd be mad to pick a vitara over a samurai for off-roading, vits are carp in my experience, spit diffs out and break all over the show! _________________ 69 MG Midget | 89 MG Metro

frewheeling hubs have to be locked into place unlike yours which are permanently locked.
freewheeling hubs mean that the front diff isnt under constant pressure from normal driving but you have to remember to lock them for off roading
also, they came on most samurais but not on most of the sjs as they were an optional extra on the later sjs and standard on the santanas |
