I know this is an old post but can I just ask, is ep90 suitable for the diffs, gearbox and transfer box on a Samurai?
Also what grade engine oil is recommended?

The answers are probably all over the forum but I can't see it for looking.

Thanks for any advice in advance  Smile

Thanks deathbus, I'm going to replace all the oil and get some to keep in the garage this weekend.
I don't trust Halfords guides for accuracy.

10w40 for the engine.

if it smokes, use 15w40 as a last resort.

dont put 20w50 into it as itll block the camshaft galleries and cause a top end seize up!
