Hi to all in this forum.
I have just done a head gasket on my wife's Jimny. ( bought it in the trade with head gasket shot) so I did take a calculated gamble.
Head off, light skim and refit with new gaskets, new stat, water-pump..everything seems to be in order, mind you I should have replaced valve stem oil seals
On test and stationary the engine is fine, all warning lights clear, however when I drive it that check-engine warning light is intermittent and when it lights up the car drops off in power, light an ignition miss.? I have looked at this circuit and it all points to that Lambda Sensor, pre-cat...I hope.
Can anybody give me some pointers on this problem, I have ordered a new sensor anyway, hopefully this will put it to bed, or I am in the doghouse with the misses...
Cheers and thanks

Hey thanks for that...I did put this in the Vitara section..opps.
Well I have ordered a new sensor, suppose its the easy route and least expensive at this stage, I have been trying to disconnect the plug from the old sensor...jesus what a place to put a plug and socket, right behind at the rear of the block on the injection side, *beep* to get at from the top, I really dont want to have to pull away the injector rail...ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....
Will hope to fit tomorrow..will get back to ya.
Cheers

Latest update from Genden...! they have stopped selling the universal Lambda for the Suzuki Jimny..
They have had some hassle with the two different engine models that Suzuki have with the Jimny and according to Genden the manufacturers cant guarantee the sensors will actually do the job..!
Looks like I am gonna be forced to purchase from a dealer. Could you get me a dealer price UK side.? or can you throw any light on this matter from Genden.?
Cheers
