hi to fellow club members,

i have just purchased a suzuki x-90 2wd, the problem that i have is that when the boot is released because of the weight of the spoiler the boot lid will not stay up ( it also has an eletric motor to release the boot attached) does anyone khow of a way of solving this problem.

i have allready though of struts (gas) but there is no where suitable to attach them, any ideas are welcome.

I HAVE JUST REVERSED THE TENSION SPRINGS SO THAT THEY DO OPPOSITE SIDES, THIS WORKS A TREAT BUT BECAUSE THE SPRINGS HAD WEAKENED IN ONE DIECTION WHICH MADE THEM EASY TO REMOVE THEY WERE MUCH HARDER TO RE FIT AS THE TENSION WHEN REVERSED WAS HIGHER. HOPE THIS HELPS ANYONE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM.
