Hello Everybody, newbie here.

Got a 95 JLX 1.6  SWB Vitara. Shes my workhorse. My brakes have gone funky and I think my Master Cylinders shot. Basically when you push down on the pedal it goes a long way down, like there was a leak. But as you pump it the resistance increases. Until the next time you use the brake and all the pressures gone again.

I've checked for leaks and bled the system. no difference, but I seem to recall this happening to a Beetle I had once and it was the MC then. (though the whole thing was so shot to bits it could have been any number of things)

And incidentally, does anyone know if I can put an X-90 Master cylinder on my Vit?

Cheers Folks Smile

I'm no expert so Zocko may very well correct me with other info or a possible fitting to make it work.. but I would imagine the bore diameter would be totally different?
