|
|
Hi there, I wonder if anyone can help me, i have an "M" reg Suzuki SJ410 Samurai of which i would like to put larger wheels onto.
Does anyone know what size you can go up to and would this mean hub spacers? also where could we source these from?
I intend to use it intensively off road and I'd welcome anyone's input and experience of the Suzuki off road
Thanks Everyone

Hiya Westy, welcome to the club
The wheel / tyre size question seems to go on eternally
It all depends what modifications you're intending to do to your SJ... I ran 215/80R15 MTs on my standard Samurai for a while, no problems really, they did just catch inder the front arches on full articulation but that's all (I've since done a 2" body lift to cure that problem, loads of clearance now). They don't do the gearing any favours mind, you'd find the slightest gradient will cause you to drop down a cog
If you're going to "intensively" offroad it though I assume you're going to be doing some mods, so in that case you can go as big as you want.... just look at SHERUKI _________________
