I decided to have a crack at a rear disc conversion as I had a spare set of front brakes in the garage and had to change my rear diff and found the existing rear brakes were fubar when I removed the drums.
These are my rear drums after being turned on a lathe to make the adapters for the discs to mount on

These are the adapters with the longer front studs fitted to allow for the width of the disc

Half shaft withthe adapter fitted

These are the front caliper mounts with 2.5" cut out so it can be slotted over the rear axle then welded

Like this

With a coat of paint

With both sides done

Will post more pics as it goes back together

Thanks i was gonna put it all back tomorrow but I should really replace the seals you can see in the 3rd to last pic. I've put new wheel bearings on the half shafts as these caused the diff to fail so i may as well go the whole hog but they need to be ordered as the dealers don't stock them.
