hello everyone, this is my first post on here.
im hoping someone can offer some advise on a k plate vitara jlx 1.6 petrol.
when the engine is cold it will fire up ok, but when the engine has been run for a bit and is warm it wont restart, you need to wait until it has cooled down.
we were think along the lines of fuel pump (im guessing this is in the tank?) or injectors.
you get a clicking noise from what looks like a vacuum valve/ relay when this fast clicking noise happens the engine will turn over but wont fire up.
any help or advise greatly appreciated. |

hey up. had a similar problem on my old honda prelude.
turned out to be the main relay, had a dry joint. id check that first.
if not id start checking vacuum hoses.
good luck mate |
