Can anyone advise me on my handbrake release button as it is stuck in the handbrake column.  I really have to put my thumb into it to release it.  Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks
Sharon

Dunno about the Vitara, but on one car I had years ago the plastic "grip" bit of the handbrake lever had slowly (over serveral years) migrated up the metal lever with the result that the button appeared to have become recessed into the end Sad . Took ages to work out what had happened but once I realised I just forced it back the other way and normal service was resumed Very Happy
