my vitara has a single point injection but wont prime the carb if i tow it it starts
if i pour petrol in it starts but otherwise wont start on key  any suggestions?

Could just be the fuel pump relay or the fuel pump itself.

idont think it would be pump related as it still wouldnt work if you bump start it. have you tried starting it while pumping the accelerator, should do the same job as pouring fuel down the carb and if it works the carb needs a clean and tune..... hope it helps  Very Happy  Very Happy

have now found out it is the pump it is not giving me the correct pressure
