It's a small rubber gaiter about 2" diameter that lives where the gear shifter enters the transfer box. Accorting to Jenkins Suzuki in Cardiff I had the last one in the country . I worked for an injection moulder for 10 years, and i reckon this is about 30p worth of moulding, so retail of £3 is probably about right.... Anyone like to hazard a guess how much the new one cost me?

Guess no-one wanted to play that game then? It was £19.20. Changed it today, easy enough to change. Problem is now that the transfer box had taken on some water, which has become well mixed with the oil, so the gunk that's coming out of it is horrible! _________________
