|
|
Hi all,
New to the site and looking forward to being a right pain in the butt im sure
I have just picked up a J plate Sammi (Spanish built though ) and sorting out the SPOA kit for it. Ive noticed that mine has an anti roll bar on the front that some of the others dont have.
How does this work with the SPOA. Has anyone had a go at this conversion with this set up?
Would appreciate any help you guys can come up with.

As above ditch the Anti roll bar as I doubt it will fit with a SPOA. If a SJ is going to be used off road the anti roll bar is normally removed to help with suspension travel anyway
The only problem may be when you go for an MOT. If an eagle eyed inspector notices the bar is missing from the empty mounts he may not like it . Solution ....... Cut the mounts off |

I was thinking along those lines but thought I would check 1st.
Its going to be used on and Off road hence the trying to keep the roll bar attached.

my vit is road legal and you dont really notice that the anti-roll bar is gone, lets be honest its gonna be an INTERESTING ride with the added height so i would go the whole hog and throw the anti-roll bar..... jm2$w |

Cheers again,
Decided to loose the roll bar. Hey Im in for a penny in for a few hundred quid lol
This poor old sammi will eventualy hit the roads. Sooooooo much work to do and sooooooo little money to pay for it all.
I worked for Suzuki years ago when these things were new and its like going back in time.
A mate and I have already had a trial run with a 410 and I will post pics of that when I can (and when I find out how).
