OK I have got my other cars uptogeather for now so hope to get restarted on my Diesel SJ project.
Started as this
Turned it into this
Then fitted a 1800 Turbo Diesel engine
Trouble is I dont really want to refit the SJ body, Its got a fair bit of rot and the time spent fixing it could be spent fitting something a bit different.
But What ?
My intentions were to find a Ford Puma body and fit that but I cant get one anywhere for sensible money. I need 4 seats and a small boot so before I get another Polo and leave the roof on and back seats in what do you think ?
P.S. I have a contact number for a guy who can supply a Moggy body which is where I am at at the mo but quite fancy something a bit newer _________________ www.sandrcars.freeservers.com |

What about a KA should be about the same wheelbase i'm guessing. There is one going to be featured in TOR magazine I believe. _________________ Suzuki now gone, replaced by Pajero's |

Oooh I like the moggy idea. I always fancied putting an original GP beach buggy body one one, but no good for you if you need 4 seats and a boot.... something small european and stylish, maybe a fiat or renault of some kind? _________________

I love that KA, Have spoken to the guy that built it via Difflock and seen some behind the scenes photos But its been done, looking for something different.

Thought about a beach buggy but again its been done I do fancy the euro hatch idea but the biggest draw back is the engine bays are so short. Even thought about re-fitting front wings of SJ back onto euro hatch
Moggy has the longer bonnet but really fancy something wacky _________________ www.sandrcars.freeservers.com |

I don't know if you remember the outspan orange car wacky enough for you, would take some fabrication though (easy for a man of your caliber )
or another idea Trabant _________________ Suzuki now gone, replaced by Pajero's |
