Hi guys Fergus from Ireland here. Firstly I would like to say hi to everyone this is my first post on here. I have owned a beautiful 2.0TD  GRAND VITARA automatic with 92000 miles on it for the last 3 years. It has been flawless until last week, here are my tails of woe. Last week while driving home from the shops I heard a noise coming from under the jeep, it sounded like there was something caught in the drive shaft ( like a length of wire or something) i honestly cant remember if the power dipped or i just slowed down but the noise only lasted for approx 30 seconds and all seemed fine. I drove home and parked up, after an hour I decided to take it out for a run to make sure everything was ok. I drove it up the road and the battery light came on so I turned round and went home, The light went out a few meters before my house ,I got out had a look round the engine and all belts and so on looked perfect. I then took it out again on the motor way and thats when all went wrong. The Jeep lost all power and seemed to be running on 3 , battery light and check engine light came on. Got it home plugged in a code reader and it showed waste gate solenoid A malfunction . I swapped it around with the other two solenoid's but no difference. I checked the alternator and it was giving out 14v. The jeep is starting but very very lumpy - lots of white smoke and condensation and a strong fuel smell  from the exhaust . Battery light is now staying on and not charging the battery. If I pull the plug off #1, #2, #4 injector engine cuts out, but if i pull the plug off #3 injector there is only a very little difference to the lumpy tick over. The code reader is now also reading injector circuit open.

I hope this makes even a little sense . Like I said this is / was  immaculate prior to this problem. I am just getting it hard where to even start trying to find the problem and why all of a sudden so many things just went wrong. Any advice would be great guys.
