Hi All,

Very happy with my new Jimney Auto 2013 SZ4, but confused by advice on when to engage 4WD.

One garage told me never to engage 4WD ON ROAD under any circumstances, another told me I could engage it anytime I like, eg: if the road looks a bit icy, and Suzuki Head Office have not got a clue!

I'm non-technical, so do not understand the mechanics, or how damage can be cause to the 4WD system.

I have no problem in a muddy field, but don't want to wreck anything by engaging 4WD ON ROAD in the wrong conditions!
For example, if the roads look icy, can I engage 4WD, or do I have to wait until I am sliding around or have slid into the gutter?

Any help really appreciated.
Many thanks!

Shooter Woody
