Hi-  I bought a new Samurai in '87 from a dealer in NewOrleans that was going out of business for $5500.   Regretably I sold about
5 years later and I am asking a friend to look under the hood of  another 87 Samurai that has been sitting a long time where
he lives but I need to tell him how the hood opens.  I cannot remember where the hood latch release is.  Can anyone help?
He says he has looked in the normal places under the steering wheel or by the kick panel on the left side
of the drivers feet.
