Hi ,
Hoping for some sound advice, my beloved XL7 has just failed its MOT due to a broken drivers side suspension spring.
Have ordered a spring from breakers, ordered a workshop manual from e-bay (AWAITING DELIVERY OF BOTH).... BUT.. being a rank amateur mechanic I'm a little hesitant to get stuck in (would normally get mechanic to do my repairs but can't afford to at moment).

QUESTIONS ; Am I just being a pussy or is this something I shouldn't attempt?

Any helpful tips appreciated.
