Hi all first posting of many I think, purchased my first Suzuki Samurai off road and it hasn't got a hand brake fitted to the rear disc brakes,I need to know if an hand brake can be fitted and would I need a longer hand brake cable from a different car. The previous owner has set the suspension springs on the highest level and I am thinking this is why a hand brake has not been fitted. I would like to put the truck through an mot thats the reason I am asking
cheers Paul

If your Suz is anything other than standard then it may be difficult to answer your enquiry... However, I would recommend researching how people with modified Sammy's affix a handbrake. It might be a simple case of purchasing a Vitara handbrake cable to reach. Not really answer to your question but something to think about. Confused

the handbrake is normally on the transfer box, it would be worth stripping down the brake and fitting new shoes. mine is on the transfer box and it works really well Very Happy
