Could anyone give me advice on the following. '95 Vitara JLX fat boy 1.6 - horn not working! Bought new horn, still not working??? Checked fuse which was fine, took off steering wheel cover and all contacts look fine - help!!! Thanks. |

Does the horn disc have 1 or 2 wires? Do you have a test light? If not take it to someone who has. Check for a live coming in to the switch. Press switch, check for live coming out of switch. Check the horn disc, its not uncommon to be sold a duff.Really basic stuff for a mechanic.

Denbo,
The horn disc has 2 wires. However, I touched some cabling at the base of the steering column the other day and it started working?? It now works as and when it sees fit, so some hope for it!! I don't have a test light but will ask a local mechanic to have a look. Thanks for your reply. |
