i need to cut through some 5mm thick metal, only have a 5" grinder any goot cutting disk you know of man enough for the job??

A angle grinder will cut 5mm best use a slitting (cutting) wheel and at the very least some eye protection.

what just a bog standard cutting disk? coz i have a few of them, or a thin cutting disk? and i always wear protection lol

The thin ones are cutting the thicker ones are grinding.

Yes, I know the thick ones are for grinding, I meant I have a few standard size cutting disks and I can get some very thin cutting disks  Laughing Thanks for the advice  Very Happy
