hi all, need some tech help, my neighbour is selling his p reg 2ltr turbo diesel, 73k on the clock, wants £800 for it, however he wont sell it to
me until he has sorted out a problem with the turbo, it starts and idles fine but when driving the turbo is not kicking in and at about 30mph it starts to smoke???..., a
friend of his said that it could be the 'turbo switch'?, whatever that is?, any ideas on the problem and opinions on the price to, thanks in advance |

more likely to be an intercooler pipe split, but if you can check the selenoid and the vac pipes that come from it to the turbo you may find the problem there.
