hi people i was wondering if i can get a little advice.
i have a suzuki vitara jlx, its been in the family for 10 years, my brother brought it for £4500 back in 2002 and was told that it was a rare edition, a 1 in 20 made just for the japanese motor show, its got cream leather interior and a wooden steering wheel along with wooden effect gear knob and dash board.
was just wondering if any1 had information about it as i cant find anything on the internet about the 20 made.

Might be an idea to go to a suzuki dealer and ask about it. Mind u I have 1 in 200 made rossini vitara and they denied even making one in that colour. It could be a case seeing a jap specialist or emailing some.

rossinis were a little more common than only 200 made im afraid

contact suzuki japan to see if it was in fact made for the japan auto show.

another tell tele would be the chassis number...

if it has tv01 or tv02 in the chassis number then im afraid youre out of luck as it was spanish made ad wouldnt have been made for a japanese car show.

also, to be classed as a production model, any car has to have at least 500 made so 1 of 200 i think was a little white lie from the car dealer your brother bought it from

1 in 250? Lol. I know there's isn't as many of them but I don't know exactly how much, 200 was a rough estimate.

Mine will be,  however, 1 of kind when I'm finished with her

What year and colour?

Verdi and rossini had cream leather iirc the rest could easily have been added. Years ago wood trim dash kits were available everywhere.
