Hi, got my Jimney last year and love it of course. I'm based up in North Yorkshire on the edge of the Dales and surrounded by hundreds of miles of off roading heaven. However, I only do light off roaring as I don;t want to hurt my toy - am I on the right forum? Did quite a bit of extreme off roading using Landys in the Middle East when I was there for five years but now spend an unusual and somewhat worryingly amount of time washing, polishing and Wd-ing my Jimney. Are there any others out there who would like to meet up and spend a few hours washing, polishing and Wd-ing their Jimneys? Ok, i am also a professional photographer and camper when my care work doesn't get in the way, my other half and I are both canvas mad.

Cheers Zocko but don't think there is, never mind. I did do some proper off roading this morning, about two miles of rough track, mud and a river so quite proud of myself and the Jimney was fine as expected. I won't be pushing my luck with it as need the car for work and it's got to last me a long time. Am now getting some roof rails and a luggage basket for some possible trips further afield later in the summer. |

if shes in good nick, id recommend getting the underside sealed with waxoyl or something similar.
itll protect her a little better and help her las longer.
also, look around her and try to find the places salt and dirt can get into and sit and protect those too. itll stop her rotting.
im sure if you ask someone will be able to tell you the places they may be weak in? _________________ the car in front is a toyota...
