Can I please have some feedback as to the reliability of these units, engine and any other aspect, what are the typical problems encountered that should I know, I have had one a few years ago and it was trouble free, I'm asking the question after being burnt by another manufacturer and thought rather than just head out again and buy something, I should ask the question from the people who know best, The Owners, are they relaible my previous one was a company car that I only had for 2 years so it was new, this one I'm looking at is 2008 with very low Km's and in Auto.

I can't say that i've driven a vitara myself, but I've always heard good things.
