hi im new to the whole 4x4 scene as iv given up on motocross bikes after having so many stolen :@ iv acquired a sj413 off my brother who also knows nothing about 4x4s but for some reason baught the thing broke it and left it on the drive for 6 months. id be greatful if any body could tell me where i could find a rear diff for it and what kind i will need as it has the 1.6 vitara engine in? thanks matty.

first you need to find out if its a sj413 or a samurai as they had different ratios.

if you need it, i might be able to source you a rear diff for either but youll need to know which it is.

if its not badged, the easy way to tel is the position of the side repeater indicators: if theyre at the front end of the wings, its an sj413. if theyre at the rear of the front wings its a samurai

the side repeaters are towards the rear of the front wing, nearer the door. any help will be appreciated as i dont know what im looking for or where to look. cheers.
