hi ive obtained a vitara jlx se 1993 from my father inlaw ,it needs a new engine but dont no what engine can fit in? i havent recieved it yet so dont no if its a 8 or 16 valve ,can both engines fit ,??? any advise please

Not sure exactly but water can out of the exhaust apparently

find out whats wrong before you start worrying about a new engine.

it might be a cheap enough repair to do?

when i get the engine sorted whats a good carb to fit to give abit more power cheers

the 1.6 is inection, not a carb

Shows I'm new to this ae I haven't got it yet so not been able to have a good investigate ,so if it's injected what the best way to get more power ?? Cheers also what do you drive?
