Apart from loving my (well the wifes) Vitara my first love are my bikes, i ride everyday come rain snow or shine and have done for almost 30yrs. For everyday use aka "the workhorse" i ride a Honda CB1000, don't let the old style looks fool you, it pulls like a train up to 150mph and is really comfortable to ride over long distances.

My pride and Joy is my modified Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade, i'm not going into boring details of what i've done to it and i'm certainly not gonna say how much i've spent spent on it for marital reasons. Just take my word for it, this is ultra quick, i've never taken it to its limit but i can tell you if you knock it down a gear and open it up at 150mph it pushes you firmly in the back of the seat...book speed for these says 186.7mph but i know mine will stomp past that.

Beautiful bikes there, i like them both equally and would choose the 1st pic, your daily as my prefered choice if I had to make one. Im going to take my test next year for the big bike.. I can ride them, just not so legally..  Embarassed

Cheers Westini, i'm really happy with both of them however the Fireblade isn't really an ideal bike to ride on inner city streets hence the reason it only comes out every now and then.

Apart from that, when you use a fraction of its power you end up breaking the law Confused

Cheers Fastcol, that's all i need really however i'm thinking about a crosser/enduro for the coming winter, the CB1000 is a bit of a handful in the snow and it's bloody heavy. Also looking on buying a RD250 aircooled next year, must've had 10 of those in my youth with all the normal trick bits and their becoming collectible now so i think one would look nice in the garage  Laughing

Yeh a crosser would be nice for the winter, wouldn't mind one meself, but no room in the garage  Very Happy  Wouldn't fancy riding the big Honda in the bad weather either.
Air cooled Yam's are well cool, recon the RD is a much better bet than the LC, far too expensive, lots about and still pretty easy to get bits for. Still got a fewminor jobs to do on the two 750 Hondas over the winter then they will be on the road, hopefully doing a few shows, love the early 80's bikes tho
