Borrow a 15 from someone first to see if it will fit

I've got a 96 V6 and was advised against it. It does have something to do with the brakes, you can't even fit steel wheels. I've had the tyre issue for a while, a few people did give some good advice though, are they muds or AT's your putting on?

Having just bought a LWB V6 myself Im in the same boat, that is Im looking for a second set of wheels to fit better winter tyres so the snow wont be any trouble and will give me a chance to get off road before the weather sets in.

Only thing is most if not all the sets Ive seen on eBay are all 15", so does that meen Im stuck with the rather naff looking standard 16"s?

And also which other JDM 4x4 share the Vitara's stud pattern? Is the Sportrak/Fourtrak the same pattern by any chance?

Cheers

Unfortunately without modifying the wheel to accommodate different wheels you can only have the standard wheels. If you were just looking for tyres for winter and mild offroad, gravel tracks, trails and light mud then have a look at Falken Landair T110. They are a road tyre at the extreme end of road tyres, they have good deep treads and to be honest aren't far off all terrains. The pictures on google don't do them justice. They are mud and snow rated and will do the job for what you need. You can also use them all year round as they give you better mileage than ATs. Reasonably priced aswell. I use them but do have a set of general grabbers for winter use as my job requires a fair bit of offroad driving in the winter. Hope this helps but yeah sucks about the wheels
