hi all new to the forum and owning a vitara and the problems have started already lol

the problem i'm having is vibration at any speed while accelerating if i take my foot of the accelerator or put the car in neutral the vibration goes

after reading the other posts on vibration i've been under the old gal and gave the prop shaft a good shake it seems the problem is within the diff as the prop
will move about half an inch in all directions and the diff feels hot (can still bear it with your hand)

does this mean a new diff/rear axel or is there a bearing etc that is replace able
