hey every one my name is Ray. I just bought a 86 Sammi a week ago with the intentions of having a car that i can drive on road but will lean more towards the off road side. I have a stock pile of parts sitting in my garage for this truck but that is for a later time. I am looking for info and the best way to tune this thing. It has been sitting for three years and has not been driven very much. what i have done so far is drain the old gas, change fuel filter, put on all new fuel lines, new fuel pump, new cap and rotor, change the oil and spark plugs and the wires. Then after looking at the nasty looking stock carb i decided to replace it with a weber 32/36 manual choke. now i am have ing trouble tuning this thing. I do have a fuel preasure reg but it is not on the truck yet. is it needed? what psi would be best if so. currently it will not idle smoothly at all and the engine wants to die when you slowly press the gas pedal, but when you floor the pedal there is no hesitation. i almost with i went with propane kit instead.

any help or advise will be greatly appreciated.
